Chin Na Techniques 66 - 89

Chin Na (擒拿, qínná) means “Seize and Control” and is applicable to all martial arts styles. It includes joint locks and cavity press techniques. Altogether, it is estimated that over 800 Chin Na techniques exist in martial arts. The YMAA system consists of about 120. This level's techniques are:
  1. Control the Dragon's Head (扣龍頭, kòu lóngtóu)
  2. Control the Dragon's Tail (扣龍尾, kòu lóngwěi)
  3. Send the Devil to the Heaven (送魔上天, sòngmó shàngtiān)
  4. Turn the Body to Seize the Monkey (翻身擒猿, fānshēn qínyuán)
  5. Walk with Me (與我同行, yǔwǒ tóngxíng)
  6. Upward Elbow Wrap (上纏肘, shàng chánzhǒu)
  7. Low Elbow Press (下壓肘, xià yāzhǒu)
  8. Old Man Promoted to General (老漢拜將, lǎohàn bàijiàng)
  9. Left Right Cross Elbow (左右交肘, zuǒyòu jiāozhǒu)
  10. Old Man Bows Politely (老漢有禮, lǎohàn yǒulǐ)
  11. Both Hands Seize the Murderer (雙手擒凶, shuāngshǒu qínxiōng)
  12. Twist the Arm and Press the Neck (扭手壓頸, niǔshǒu yājǐng)
  13. The Arm Holds the Dragon's Head (手握龍頭, shǒuwò lóngtóu)
  14. Leg Qin Na 1 (腿擒拿 - 1, tuǐ qínná - 1)
  15. Leg Qin Na 2 (腿擒拿 - 2, tuǐ qínná - 2)
  16. Leg Qin Na 3 (腿擒拿 - 3, tuǐ qínná - 3)
