Chin Na Techniques 36 - 50

Chin Na (擒拿, qínná) means “Seize and Control” and is applicable to all martial arts styles. It includes joint locks and cavity press techniques. Altogether, it is estimated that over 800 Chin Na techniques exist in martial arts. The YMAA system consists of about 120. This level's techniques are:
  1. Thumb Press (拇指壓, mǔzhǐ yā)
  2. Small Finger Hook (小指扣, xiǎozhǐ kòu)
  3. Small Finger Turning (小指扳, xiǎozhǐ bān)
  4. Up Hook Finger (上刁指, shàng diāozhǐ)
  5. Back Wrap Hand (反纏手, fǎn chánshǒu)
  6. Low Outward Wrist Press (下外壓腕, xiàwài yāwán)
  7. Feudal Lord Invites to Dinner (霸王請客, bàwáng qǐngkè)
  8. Wild Chicken Breaks Its Wing (野雞拗翅, yějī ǎochì)
  9. The Hero Shows Courtesy (英雄有禮, yīngxióng yǒulǐ)
  10. Carry a Pole on the Shoulder (肩挑扁擔, jiāntiāo biǎndàn)
  11. Hands Holding a Large Beam (手握大樑, shǒuwò dàliáng)
  12. Forward Upward Turning (前上翻, qián shàngfān)
  13. Old Man Carries Fish on his Back (老漢背魚, lǎohàn bēiyǔ)
  14. Look to the Heavens and Shout (仰天長嘯, yǎngtiān chángxiào)
  15. Force to Bow (強迫鞠躬, qiǎngpò júgōng)
